| Note | From and interview with Okku (daughter of Arhippa, Jevdokia's brother) in 5th Jul 2000 when she was 77. Her father was the brother of Jevdokia. "She was skiing on the lake and fell in. A friend helped her out with a large piece of wood. Afterwards, Jevdokia was often ill (bad feet, head, blind). She said to her husband "Take another woman - there are five children, cows, horses, land to plough". Mehvo is old and can't do enough, and took another woman who was in the same house and had two children - Hekla b1909 and Uljana b?. Jevdokia looked after these two children". |
